The UK Data Service is a national data service that provides access to a wide range of social and economic data collections including UK census data and government funded surveys as well as qualitative and business data.

This presentation (a repeat of the 9.30 - 10.30 session) will provide an introduction to the location and retrieval of data from some of the more than 6,000 datasets available from UKDS. Key data types include:

  • UK Census data
  • Government funded surveys
  • Longitudinal studies
  • Cross-national surveys
  • International macrodata
  • Business microdata
  • Qualitative data
