What are eCounterItems?
eCounterItems are scans of book chapters & journal articles found on reading lists. You locate them by following the link from the Marshall's www pages or by using the Newton or LibrarySearch catalogues. If a book has had one of its chapters scanned for a reading list there will be a link to it from the book's catalogue record. The following gives examples of how eCounterItems display on our two catalogues.
These scans are reserved for one specific group of students only, so if you do not belong to this group, you will not be able to access these scans (this is for copyright reasons!). If you believe that you should have access, or have problems with accessing scans, please contact us telling us which item you were trying to access.
