Current Marshall Library Services

Browse and Borrow etc.

You can  visit the Library in person between 8.30 am - 9 pm Monday to Friday or between 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday during full term. During vacation the Library is only open between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The Library's opening hours and calendar are available here.

All Cambridge University students or staff are welcome to use the Marshall Library.

If your University Card doesn't open the door please phone us on 01223 335217 and we'll let you in and explain how you can get your card activated for access.

Click & Collect : Monday to Friday 8.30am - 9pm

Find the book you want to borrow on iDiscover and click on the link to fill out the Click & Collect Form. You'll receive an email as soon as your book is ready for collection.

Scanning on demand

Where possible we will scan book chapters to support taught courses. Further information is available on our Scanning suggestion form.

Book purchase requests

If there are books or ebooks that you'd like to use that we don't have - or if you think that we don't have enough - please let us know via our Book suggestion form and we will investigate acquiring them.

Bloomberg & LSEG Workspace

You can book sessions on one of the three Marshall Library Bloomberg terminals via the Bloomberg booking form. Depending on whether you are using a Windows or Mac device you may be able to access LSEG Workspace remotely. Please use the Accessing LSEG Workspace booking form in you would like to use Workspace.
