New Library Team Member: Peter Czosnyka
Peter Czosnyka joins us today on an hourly-basis, working during the evenings. He writes: 'As a graduate trainee at Pembroke College Library I have been learning the craft of librarianship. This library is a friendly, warm oasis of calm where members of Pembroke labour away at the academic task of gaining knowledge. Most recently I have been working on a PhD in history at Anglia Ruskin University. My thesis topic is The Toy Soldier in Britain 1945 to 1972: A Cultural History. I will finish my Phd in 2017, and then I plan on going to library school for my MSc in Information Management.'
