Undergraduate / MPhil / Diploma Christmas Vacation Borrowing
UG / MPhil / Diploma students are entitled to borrow 5 books for the vacation. Vacation borrowing starts on :
Thursday 5th December 2013 at 9.00 am

All Open Shelf books must be returned to the Library by 7.00pm on Wednesday 4th December 2013.

To ensure all books are returned, overdue Open Shelf items will accrue fines of 50p per hour from 9.00 am on Thursday 5th December 2013.

If you intend to stay in Cambridge for the vacation and want to ensure that the books you need are not borrowed and taken away please follow the link opposite and complete the Temporary Vacation Reserve Books suggestion form. We will then consider making the books you suggest into temporary Reserve Books for the vacation.

PhD / University Staff Christmas Vacation Borrowing
PhD / Non-economics University staff are entitled to borrow 8 books for the vacation. Vacation borrowing for these borrower categories starts on  :
Thursday 5th December 2013 at 9.00 am
Borrowers in these categories are exempt from the end-of-term recall of books and may simply renew their books online after 9.00 am on the 5th December 2013.

All books issued or renewed to these borrower categories on the 5th December 2013 will be due on Tuesday 14th January 2014.

It will not be possible to renew vacation loan books on this date - all books will have to be physically returned to the library before or on this date.
