Marshall Library

Fines Notifications (weekly on Wednesdays)

Since Wed 6 May 2015 any reader at the Marshall Library who currently has fines will be notified, weekly by email.

These emails will notify you about any outstanding fines at the Marshall Library, but only for items which were either returned or renewed late (historic fines). They will not include "fines in progress", when a book has not been renewed or returned in time, and is still overdue.

We advise you to check your Library account for any overdue items (via Newton's My Account, or LibrarySearch's My library account), as it is likely that your account will be blocked by these, if your total fines (historic plus "fines in progress") exceed £6.00.

Please be also aware of further points about making online payments, and you might also find it useful to read about further issues with renewals.

Finally, if you have any problems with your fines, the notification received, why your card is blocked, or why you cannot renew or borrow at the moment, please contact us soon as you can, and will try to assist you.
