From the start of Easter Term we are returning to the previous system where you must return an overdue item to the Library and pay any outstanding fines before any books may be renewed, or further books borrowed. Saturdays will no longer be counted for fines - any Short Loan books borrowed/renewed on Thursday or Friday will be due the following Monday. Reserve Books from the Reserve Collection issued after 4pm on Friday will be due back before 10:30 on Monday morning.
Remember you can pay your fines at the desk or online at the following location:

Unfortunately the recent trial of allowing renewal of overdue books was unsuccessful and resulted in some borrowers incurring lage and multiple fines. The purpose of library fines are to encourage everyone to return or renew their books by the due date and so allow the effective circulation of books in high demand.
Please contact the Marshall Library if you have any problems with renewals.
