The borrowing allowance for Economics & Development Studies readers has gone up, whereas the maximum number of books which can be taken out by anyone else has gone down. The maximum number of fines (before an account would be blocked) has been increased to £6.00 (before £5.00).
Borrowing at Marshall: changes from 20 April 2015 (Trial until 11 December 2015)

2. Fines/Amount blocking account:
Before:
£5.01 blocked your account and prevented you from
a) renewing a book which is overdue
and
b) borrowing any other book.
Since 20 April 2015:
Increase amount to £6.01; this means if an UG forgets to renew 6 books, s/he will be able
to renew them late, but only if s/he remembers soon(er rather than later).
